So, lets begin with…

[01] Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio)

Renowned for its size and strength, this species can exceed 1 meter in length and weigh over 30 kg. The current world fishing record? A massive epic 51,2 kg (112.9 lbs) giant caught by Michel Schoenmakers in Euro Aqua, Hungary in January 2015! Adaptable and powerful, the common carp remains a favorite among anglers worldwide. [02] Silver Carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix)

Recognized by its sleek silver body and upturned eyes, this species is known for its incredible leaping ability, often jumping high out of the water when startled. Silver carp can grow up well over 100 cm in length and weigh over 45 kg (99 lbs). The largest recorded catch weighed an impressive 50 kg (110 lbs). Originally from East Asia, it plays a vital role in controlling algae and plankton levels in freshwater systems.

[03] Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella)

This herbivorous freshwater fish is known for its elongated body and silvery-gray scales. Capable of reaching lengths over 1.5 meters and weighing up to 45 kg (99 lbs). Native to the Pacific Far East, with a native range stretching from northern Vietnam to the Amur River on the Sino-Russian border. It has been introduced worldwide for aquatic vegetation control, playing a key role in managing freshwater ecosystems.
